Hatice KARAKAŞ (with supervision by Prof. Beykan ÇİZEL) has been granted the TÜBİTAK 2214-A International Doctoral Research Scholarship Program to conduct her doctoral thesis titled "The Mediating Role of Ethno-Cultural Empathy in the Impact of Cultural Intelligence and Cultural Distance on Destination Image and Visiting Intention: The Case of Scandinavian Countries".

Prof. Zeki AKINCI (PhD) has been awarded a research prize by the Strategic Research Academy & Strategic Researches Academic Publishing.
The PhD thesis titled “A Qualitative Study on Restaurant Formations in Tourism Destinations: The Case of Cappadocia” prepared by Research Assistant Gökhan YILMAZ under the supervision of Prof. Bahattin ÖZDEMİR (PhD), has been awarded the Best Doctoral Thesis Prize at the 8th Graduate Tourism Students Research Congress organized by Anatolia: Journal of Tourism Research and Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University.
