Our faculty, which has the World Tourism Organization TedQual Certificate, which only 2 universities in our country have, and the Quality Management System Certificate from the Turkish Standards Institute, received an award from Skal International Istanbul. Within the scope of "Skalite 2012- Quality Awards in Tourism" organized by Skal International Istanbul for the 15th time this year and accepted as "Turkey's Tourism Oscars", Akdeniz University Faculty of Tourism was selected as the winner in the "Tourism Education Branch" and received the First Prize at a ceremony held at Istanbul Hilton Convention Center on 13 December 2012.
The Department of Tourism Management of our faculty was entitled to receive the "Quality in Tourism Education (TedQual)" Accreditation Certificate given by the United Nations World Tourism Organization. Thus, the TedQual Accreditation Certificate of our faculty, which was valid between 2018-2021, has been updated for the years 2022-2025.
Our faculty's Quality Management System Certificate "TS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Accreditation" Certificate from the Turkish Standards Institute has been renewed for the years 2019-2022 as well as for the years 2017-2020.
